DAY 01 Wed/ 16th Oct 20204 : Arrive Amritsar by flight – HOTEL CHECK IN TIME IS 1400 HRS

Today board your flight from Delhi to Amritsar (ON YOUR OWN). Arrive at Amritsar airport, you shall be met by our airport representative outside.

The Wagah border, often called the "Berlin wall of Asia", is a ceremonial border on the India–Pakistan Border where each evening there is a retreat ceremony called 'lowering of the flags', which has been held since 1959. At that time there is an energetic parade by the Border Security Force (B.S.F) of India and the Pakistan Rangers soldiers.  Witness the "Flag ceremony" where both parties attempt to outdo each other imitating the pride and anger of a Cockerel. Troops of each country put on a show in their uniforms with their colorful turbans.

Morning breakfast at the hotel leave for city tour of Amritsar visit The Golden temple – commonly known as the Darbar Sahib (Divine Court) is a living symbol of the spiritual and historical traditions of the Sikhs. It is a source of inspiration for all Sikhs and their chief place of pilgrimage.

Jallianwala Bagh: - After visiting golden temple visit Jallianwala Bagh - which is just walking distance from the Golden Temple. Jallianwala has a special importance attached to it with respect to India's freedom struggle.

On April 13TH 1919, on the auspicious day of Baisakhi hundreds of men; women and children sacrificed their lives in front of ruthless firing of the British forces.

Lunch & Shopping: - After visiting these places you will have a real experience of street food in your lunch

Some of the best food you can try in Amritsar includes Amritsari Kulcha and Daal, Channa Bhatura, Chhole Bhatura, Parathe, Dal Makhani, Rajama Chawal, Sarson Da Saag with Makai ki Roti, Amritsari Fish and Lassi. Then in your free time enjoy shopping in Amritsar.

DAY 03 Day 03 Fri/ 18th Oct 2024 : Amritsar - Dharamshala by surface (250 Kms, approximate 5 hours’ drive)

Morning breakfast at hotel and drive to Dharamshala - Surrounded by cedar forests on the edge of the Himalayas, this hillside city is home to the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan government-in-exile.

The Thekchen Choling Temple Complex is a spiritual center for Tibetan Buddhism, while the Library of Tibetan Works and Archives houses thousands of precious manuscripts. Dharamshala is one of the best places for studies and research in Tibetan Buddhism art and culture.

Upon arrival check in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure

DAY 04 Day 04 Sat/ 19th Oct 2024 : Dharamshala

Morning breakfast at hotel and explore the upper part consists of McLeod Ganj, Forsyth Ganj and the Cantonment. Visit the famous Dalai Lama Temple, Monasteries and Stupas. It is considered the holy place for Buddhist and the land of Dalai Lama and all the Tibetans in exile. Also visit Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium - 1,457 m above sea level and has snow- capped Himalayan mountains in the background.

Day 05 Sun/ 20th Oct 2024 : Dharamshala - Manali by surface (200 kms, approximate 5 hours drive)

Early this morning after breakfast drive to Manali - the "Queen of the Hill Resorts". Manali, lies at 1,926 meters on the northern edge of the Kullu valley, is the most popular tourist resort.

It’s fascinating lies in its snowcapped steep pinnacles, cascading streams, pine and cedar woods with its rich hiking and trekking possibilities. Situated along the Beas River with a superb view of the perennial snow cover of the Solang Nala.

Upon arrival check in at the hotel.

Evening free to stroll on famous Mall Road.

DAY 06 Mon/ 21st Oct 2024 : Manali

Morning breakfast at hotel and leave for city tour of Manali visiting Hadimba Devi temple built in 1553 and with superbly crafted four-tiered pagoda roof, it is famous for its exquisitely carved doorway. Manu temple, dedicated to the sage Manu & Vashishth is well known for its hot springs. There are old temples dedicated to the sage Vashishth and to Lord Rama. Monasteries: There are three recently built Tibetan monasteries at Manali and Jagat Sukh the one-time capital of Kullu. Here you find old temples dedicated to Lord Shiva and to Sandhya Gayatri. The Arjun caves are just ahead.

Lunch at Local Restaurant

Afternoon at leisure or walk down to Mall Road, the main shopping area, and enjoy the beauty of the town.

DAY 07 Tue/ 22nd Oct 2024 : Manali - Rohtang Pass - Manali (65 kms one way) – Visit by Local Taxi union Vehicles

Morning after breakfast at hotel and a full day excursion of Solang valley and Rohtang Pass. Manali is gateway to Rohtang Pass beyond which lies the twin valleys of Lahaul and Spiti, steeped in awe-inspiring splendor and about 14 kms from. Manali is the Solang Valley at 2,480 meters, the closest glacier with ski slopes and perennial snow cover.

Evening return to Manali.

DAY 08 Wed/ 23rd Oct 2024 : Manali - Shimla by surface (250 kms, approximate 6 - 7 hours’ drive)

Morning breakfast at hotel and drive to Shimla, travelling through beautiful countryside of Pine, Deodar, Oak and Rhododendron forests and apple orchards, crisp. Breathe the clean air and enjoy the breathtaking views.  Sprawled over 12 kms on a crescent shaped ridge lies Shimla, the largest hill station and erstwhile summer capital of the British in India placed in lower ranges of Himalayan Mountain.

Towards the north lies the snow- covered high ranges, while the valleys breathe of whispering streams and swaying fields. Within the town are a host of splendid colonial edifices, quaint cottages, and charming walks. Upon arrival check in at hotel and rest of the day free at leisure.

DAY 09 Thu/ 24th Oct 2024 : Shimla – Kufri - Shimla (30 Kms one way)

Morning breakfast at the hotel and at 0800 hrs. leave for an excursion to Kufri - famous for its wide views and ski slopes.

An enjoyable walk leads up to the Mahasu peak. Near Kufri lies a Wildflower Hall, Kufri is picturesque, famous for a fine view of the city and snow-clad far-off Mountain peaks.  One can enjoy the valley tour conducted by locals on the back of a pony (Horse) on a direct payment basis.  In time returned to the hotel.

Late afternoon city tour of Shimla visiting Jaku hills, town’s highest peak and vantage point for Shimla's famous views. The summit is crowned with temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman, from here you will get an excellent view of the city and surrounding scenic hills and valleys. Glen, the pleasant picnic spot, this is densely wooded glen is by the side of snow- fed bubbling stream, The ridge, The large open space in the heart of town presents excellent view of the mountain ranges. Shimla's landmarks - the Neo-Gothic structure of Christ Church and the new - Tudor Library building is worth seeing.  The State Museum houses a collection of Himachal Pradesh's rich heritage and Indian institute of advanced study, the magnificent English renaissance structure was the former Vice-regal Lodge.

DAY 10 Sun/ 25th Oct 2024 : Shimla - Kalka (By Toy Train) - Chandigarh by road (50kms, approximate 1 hour rive)
